Livn4Him Ministries

Our Ministry

Livn4HIM Ministries is committed to providing an atmosphere that the Holy Spirit delights to dwell in. We want to glorify God in and through our ministry so that Jesus is magnified.

Mark Thornton has been singing most of his life. As a Pastor's kid, he and his brother and sisters were participants in all sorts of vocal ensembles in several states. His musical influence has mainly been Praise & Worship, Urban Contemporary and Traditional Black Gospel. Because of his background of listening to or singing in a choir setting, the style of music that Mark writes and sings has been influenced by melodious harmonies.

Mark was raised in the church, but like the prodigal son, he lost sight of what is really important in life. After a time in the wilderness, he truly discovered that only Jesus Christ could give him the desires of his heart. After his own "Jonah" experience, Mark returned to the Lord and has been using his God-given abilities to help further the Kingdom in his community and across the United States.

The purpose of Livn4HIM Ministries, is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and the Word. Mark feels that music is one of the most influential means that can be used to cross denominational, cultural and racial boundaries. And because Christians need to tell the lost what they need to hear, in a way that they want to hear it, Mark is committed to using music as a tool that will bring the lost to the Lord and also, encourage unity within the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 9:16-23)

Mark currently serves as a Worship Pastor and the Men's Ministry Pastor at Capital Christian Center in Meridian, ID. Mark sings throughout the U.S. sharing the message of unity. God has and is using Mark to minister to saved and unsaved people from the United States, all the way to Kenya.

The ministry that God has blessed Mark with is primarily one of reaching the lost by "whatever means possible." Mark will continue to use the ministry of music as the primary tool in an attempt to win the lost to Christ, and to encourage and further the Kingdom of God.
